Wow, the sun in this photo was just right and Belle was actually sitting still for a while and I got a really good shot.

Christmas Time is Here!!

We had so much fun with K, K, G and C this last week! On Monday night we went to look at lights in the park and even though it was freezing we still had lots of fun! Christmas morning was great (even though Belle didn't react the way we had thought she would) and the girls got tons of fun things. Belle, was kind of emotional (surpirse!) and was tired so we had to take am million pictures to get some of her smiling:) As you can see, there wasn't much we could do to make her frown go away... but her little friend Elmo didn't have to try very hard and he got not only a smile but a laugh! It was so much fun and we really are looking forward to more years to come like this one.

This picture has a funny story. I probably took 250 pictures and got maybe 5 shots that are usable. Belle would not sit in the chair for anything so Blake was having to give her choloate kisses to make her. By the time I got to this shot she had had a couple pieces and had chocolate on her mouth! I had to go back and photoshop the chocolate off of her lips because otherwise it was the perfect picture!

Jan-Kay Ranch

We brought the youth group to Jan-Kay Ranch this weekend for a retreat and had so much fun! There were all kinds of animals, a pond for canoeing, trails and lots more fun things to do. Belle had a blast and litterally ran all day long. It was pretty much her dream life... 90 people to pay attention to her (and they all do), nice weather to play outside all day and lots of weird animals. I think she would have been happier if we would have just left her there to live with the tigers!

Yes, that is a real bear and yes he was that close! Belle was just staring and he stood all the way up super tall but when he came back down and started walking her direction she turned around and ran! Smart girl:)

The ostrich was so crazy and started doing this weird dance when we came up to his cage. Blake says he was trying to scare him away... I think he was doing his mating dance for Blake, haha!

We had some fun in the leaves today... can you believe its December and just now the leaves are falling??!! Anyway, for this shot, Blake got up into the tree and took a bunch of pictures... ah the things we do for a good pic!

"DANTA DANTA!" Belle loves santa and did so good when we went to see him! She didn't smile much but she didn't cry either! Everywhere we go now she find him and yells his name... Hopefully he brings her something fun for being so nice!

Belle is such a good little mama. She is learning how to feed her baby and hug and kiss it. We still have some work to do though since she thinks its ok to throw her baby down and yell "no" when she gets mad!
