P is for Piper

Well, last week was a little hectic. It was my first week alone with all three kids and Belle and Cashe both ended up with strep... YUCK! They are both doing well now though so hopefully this week is a little less eventful:)

I have to admit that going from 2 to 3 kids has been harder than I expected! Piper is great but poor Cashe doesn't know what's going on and is having to "grow up" a little faster than he is ready to. Every time I turn around he is up on the middle of the table, or crawling over Piper, or opening a closet door (yes he also learned that trick this week). My mom said I need to have a recording contstantly going of my voice saying "No Cashe, get down from there... Cashe, get out of there... Cashe, I said no!" Haha! That would definitely save me some trouble:) I am hoping that in a month or two he will catch on a bit and things can calm down again.

On the bright side, Belle has been such a big helper and loves having a baby sister. She's such a sweetheart:)

Anyway, here is a few pics of the sweet baby... I can't believe she is 3 weeks old already!

Sweet girl

Piper is two weeks old! She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces today and is 21 inches long... thats a whole inch in two weeks!!

She has quickly become a huge part of our lives and our little family feels complete with her:) I am not sure how we lived without her...

Lucky Number 7...

Belle had her first soccer game today and she did great! They don't technically keep score but Blake is pretty sure her team won;)

She was adorable in her pink shin guards and oversized "jersey" and I think she got her foot on the ball once or twice!

Cashe has not learned what the word "gentle" means yet. He is pretty oblivious to Piper so far but when he does notice her he wants to scratch her eyes out I think.

She always has one eye open when he is around;)

The Hat - Day 2

I just love this hat! Aunt Kristin made it for Piper and I just couldn't resist matching today's outfit to it. She's such a little doll!

More Piper

Piper definitely has the chunkiest cheeks of any of our babies and they are so sweet:) She also has the darkest skin... what a pretty little girl!

As promised, here are a few more pics of little miss Piper:) She has been such a doll and we are happy to be home with the kiddos all together.

Here she is just less than an hour old...

Mama and a yummy little strawberry... I grew and picked her myself, haha;) I am tempted to dip her in sugar and eat her but I will try and restrain.

Sweet Belle loves her new baby sister so much and has been such a big helper already! Piper is a lucky little girl:)

Although it is dangerous to have Cashe within spittin' distance of Piper right now I had to get a pic of them all together, haha! He is so sweet and stares at her but we are working on being gentle... wish me luck (and Piper too)!

Thank you to everyone for the prayers, calls and visits. And a special thanks to aunt Kristin and cousin Chloe (& Gran;) for entertaining Belle and Cashe while we were away. We wouldn't have made it the past few days without you!

Piper is here!

So sorry for the delayed post! Piper Clementine was born yesterday (April 5, 2010), at 3:52 PM. She weighed 7lb. 3oz. and was 20 inches long.

She is absolutely adorable and is quite the little princess already:)
I am including a couple pics and will have to post more tomorrow from home because Blake's laptop doesn't have the right size card reader for my better camera.
