10 Things I Love About Belle

1. She is ALWAYS excited to see Daddy and I when we have been gone (even if only for 20 minutes)

2. She absolutely LOVES Bible Class and is learning all the songs and stories so quickly!

3. She is perfect when we lay her down at night ... as long as she has her pink blankie, her green blankie, her little blankie, her other pink blankie, her quilt, her berr (bear), her elmo, and her baby (no way, my child is not picky at all!)

4. She can fall down a flight of stairs and maybe let out a little whimper and then run straight into a pole and get back up and play!

5. Shes tough but she is all girl! She loves to have her little finger nails painted cause they are "soooo petty".

6. Whenever I want a kiss she gives it!

7. She reminds us to pray before we eat... and after our first bite... and our second, etc:)

8. Everything that she is thankful for apparently comes from me because every time we tell her to say thank you to someone she says "yan you mama" (thank you mama:)

9. She knows how to put the dog in his place - "NO NO SISEY NO!"

10. She is persistant when she wants something - "wawa wawa wawa wawa wawa wawa wawa WAWA WAWA WAWA WAWA WAWA.................."

11. (I get to add an 11th thing because its my blog!) She is the sweetest, cutest, funniest, most energetic, smartest little 1 year old I know and as much trouble as she is there is no one that loves her as much as her Daddy and I and we LOVE every little quirk she has:)

So we finally took Belle to the zoo and she absolutely loved it. We decided that we better do it now and not wait till its 800 degrees outside. Belle was so smart and recognized almost every animal! She was a bit shocked at how much bigger they are in real life (as opposed to her little books). She was especially afraid of the gigantor gorilla! I was pretty afraid of him too though. He was pretty far from us and you can still see how massive he is.

Sweet Little Easter Egg

This Easter was so much fun because Belle really had fun and understood the concept of hunting eggs. She even found a few that weren't ours, lol! She got so excited with each one she found and had a blast opening each one. I think we may have found a new way to get her to sit still during church... fill plastic eggs with cereal!Easter Morning was lots of fun and the Easter Bunny brought Belle lots of goodies!

Fun in San Antonio

We had so much fun last weekend with Belle in San Antonio! We went shopping (of course) and to the river walk and to a Texas basketball game. We stayed in a nice hotel that we wanted to move into! The weather was amazing and Belle had fun the entire time. She LOVED the basketball game and was the cutest little cheerleader.

Happy Birthday Blake!!!

Blake had so much fun today opening his presents and playing with his new toys:) But I think the best part of his day was when he got to eat his birthday cake! It was so much fun watching him dig in and enjoy it. He is just getting so big I can't believe it!

Yesterday Belle learned how to climb in and out of her bed... yikes!!!! The only problem is that she gets out the same way, and its not very padded on the way out:( She is a nut!

Okay the pressure is on... only 3 more weeks until Belle is due for her 18 month pictures and I must be a professional photographer by then so I don't have to pay $1 million to have them taken. Think I can do it? Well, I guess that's probably not being realistic but I am hoping to someday be able to do it all myself! I do think that putting on a pretty dress that she doesn't normally wear makes it look almost professional! Why did I not do this before??!! Slap on a fancy outfit and mail it out on the christmas cards and it definitely looks professional:)

Christmas Time is Here!!

We had so much fun with K, K, G and C this last week! On Monday night we went to look at lights in the park and even though it was freezing we still had lots of fun! Christmas morning was great (even though Belle didn't react the way we had thought she would) and the girls got tons of fun things. Belle, was kind of emotional (surpirse!) and was tired so we had to take am million pictures to get some of her smiling:) As you can see, there wasn't much we could do to make her frown go away... but her little friend Elmo didn't have to try very hard and he got not only a smile but a laugh! It was so much fun and we really are looking forward to more years to come like this one.

This picture has a funny story. I probably took 250 pictures and got maybe 5 shots that are usable. Belle would not sit in the chair for anything so Blake was having to give her choloate kisses to make her. By the time I got to this shot she had had a couple pieces and had chocolate on her mouth! I had to go back and photoshop the chocolate off of her lips because otherwise it was the perfect picture!
