Cashe Remington O'Quin

He is here and he is PERFECT!! We are so happy to show him off finally:) I was only in labor for a total of five hours. He was very stubborn for the last hour but he eventually lost the battle and at 1:16 PM he made his appearance. He weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was a whopping 21 INCHES long! He is a long skinny little guy and he is the most handsome baby in the nursery:) We are both doing well and Daddy is so proud of his new little buddy. Belle has been here and was so excited to get to hold him and kiss him. She kept talking about how cute he is. She is already such a sweet big sister.
Here are a few pics we have taken so far, enjoy and thanks so much for the calls and prayers:)

Wishful Thinking...

Nope, no baby yet:( I am not sure why I thought I would have this baby early without some help from the doctor. So now what? More waiting, YAY!! My house is spotless, laundry is done as soon as it hits the hamper, dishes are all clean, car is packed, I am going crazy, etc. So tomorrow afternoon at my doctors appointment I will park myself in her office until she agrees to induce me. I will keep you posted on how that goes:)

Last pre-baby post?

We have had a very crazy week, to say the least. Belle had RSV, a horrible ear infection, AND the flu!! Sunday and Monday were definitely the worst days for her and we were so worried not only about her but about me going in to labor and bringing home a baby to such a sick house! Well, thankfully, no baby yet and Belle is much better:)
My doctor visit yesterday confirmed my suspisions that we will be meeting little Cash any day now! He will be a bit early so we will just be keeping him home and warm for a bit longer than we would have.
Anyway, keep us in your prayers that everyone will stay healthy and that Cashe will arrive safely without any complications. We are so excited and hope you are too!!!
Here is Belle helping me get the house ready for everything that is about to happen!

Of course, she gets a little distracted at the end and finds that it is funny to have the vacuum suck her shirt!

Finally ready to welcome "baby Cashe"

I am very proud to FINALLY be finished with Cashe's room! It is so fun and cozy and just SCREAMING for him to get here (well really I am the one who is screaming but you get the idea). Hopefully since I am finished early he will come a bit early... like today maybe;)

My only problem is that I don't think this child will have ANYTHING to wear!
(this is just what I have up to 3 months... there is more beyond the picture:)

Some pics of a pretty little girl...

What a good dancer she is!

So cute!

Christmas Day

We really had a great Christmas this year. Belle was so excited to wake up and see what Santa brought her. She was a little sad to hear that her elf went home with Santa for the year but was easily consoled when she saw all her fun presents:) We had Blake's family over for lunch and I cooked my first real Christmas Dinner. It was so nice to be home and be able to relax and enjoy the day with Belle.

Pure Excitement

I was so sad that all of this has to come down already so I took pictures so I could remember how festive it looked... it took about two weeks to get the stockings completed and hung so we only were able to enjoy them for two days:(

It's the Holiday Season...

We are so very excited about Christmas around here and Belle is definitely the reason for it all:) She just loves all the fun stories about reindeer and santa and sneaky little elves and can hardly wait until Christmas morning (although I don't know if she thinks it will ever actually happen).
The elf that lives at our house (Cake) has been very good to Belle and has brought her several fun little gifts. He has popped up all over the house too. Sometimes he is in her rocking chair, or her playhouse chimney, or her doll bed (after a long night of course). And he has even been known to borrow her little stool so he can climb high and sit on shelves or counters. He has been lots of fun to find every day:)

We hope that all of you are having a very happy Christmas season and we miss those of you very much who we will not get to see this year. Enjoy some fun Christmas photos we have taken so far:)

All I Want For Christmas...

We took Belle to see Santa today and after waiting FOREVER, she finally was able to sit on his lap and tell him she wanted a shroller (stroller). She was so excited and not scared at all!
