Ligers and Tigons are REAL

Yes, it is true. Ligers and Tigons are real! They are a mix between lion and tiger... but I am sure you already knew that. Now, I can not attest to their magical powers but it seems quite possible to me... what can I say, Napoleon is very convincing.

Anyway, Blake checked it out on snoops and the liger can weigh around 1000 pounds, holy cow!

I kind of wish it had a mane or something but oh well.

I am also including this hilarious video of Esqueleto (from Nacho Libre). Apparently he was on an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba (this show makes Kristin want to kill herself) and I couldn't believe that he talks the same way as in the movie! 4 Month Photos

I was feeling guilty for not having Cashe's pictures taken professionally so we went to the park today and spent some time and got some great shots! I hate to spend the money if I can do it myself:)

Belle's Bugs

I know this may come as a shock to some, but I grew up LOVING to collect bugs. Dad would drill holes in empty peanut butter jars and I would fill them with creepy crawlies. Now I have to have a major wad of toilet paper just to flush a cricket...

Anyway, recently Belle got a bug jar as a kid's meal toy and Daddy helped her find a ladybug (the only bug I will allow in the house) to put in her jar. They fed it an ant - yes ladybugs eat ants - and gave it a piece of wet napkin - that's how they drink apparently. The ladybug survived the night so Blake found him a friend.

Despite the abuse they have endured (being thrown, rolled, shaken, etc) they have survived a whole week!

Oh yeah, and Belle has special names for both ladybugs - Kh Kh Kh (very hard "K" sound three times). She also has doll named Catch-a-did-id-owy... no idea where that came from:)

American Idol

Ok, I will admit that this season I have been a pretty devoted American Idol watcher. I have yet to vote but my favorite though is Chris. Not only because he is more talented than Adam but because he is a normal guy. Adam is extremely flamboyant... any guy who wears more makeup than me has issues. Now we all know that he is a homosexual and it has been said that the voting tonight will break down between the red and blue states... interesting. I know that this is just a talent contest but I think it means so much more to those trying to push there evil agendas.

I have never voted before but tonight I will vote for Chris... I would vote for anyone other than the homosexual that has captured Americas heart... YUCK!

He is getting so big!!

I know every parent says this, but I seriously can't believe how fast Cashe (haha, fast cash) is growing up! He is so much fun and we just love watching him learn new things. He started rolling over last week and he drools like Beethoven... I am praying this doesn't mean teeth, yikes!

Anyway, we are all enjoying our newest member and Belle has been the best little helper. She loves her little brother so much and is always willing to throw away a dirty diaper and she is the best entertainment when he is fussy.

Sweet Sister...

Today I laid Cashe down for a nap and then went to take a shower, leaving Belle on the couch watching a movie. I told her to be my helper and to come get me if Cashe started crying. I showered very quickly and when I was done Belle came into the bathroom and I asked her if she had been listening for Cashe. She said yes and that she had "watched him sweep" (sleep:).
I didn't really think anything of it and figured she didn't mean she litterally watched him. That is, until I tried to go get him later when he woke up and his bedroom door was locked.
Thankfully we keep a key above the door for times like this:) Not sure why there is a lock on his bedroom door but I am positive this will not be the last time I have to rescue him from his own room.

Later, Cashe was napping again (notice a wonderful pattern?) and Belle was in her room playing. After a while I heard Cashe start crying so I went to check on him and noticed his bedroom door was open (I had closed it before) and Belles stool was next to his crib. This is how our conversation went:
ME: Belle, did you go into Cashe's room?
BELLE: "Yes"
ME: What did you do to wake him up?
BELLE: "I growled at him"

After that I could not interogate any longer or I would have laughed out loud so I spanked her and sent her to bed.
Poor Cashe.

We spent the day at the Arboretum and took tons of pics (over 400!) and I had a very hard time narrowing it down to just these 14:) Enjoy!

Cashe is growing so much and I have not been so good about posting pics of him:) He is talking all the time and he even laughed the other day. What a sweetheart!
