We haven't been busy or anything...

We have had a busy week! Belle had her last soccer game today and we were happy and sad to see it end:) She has improved so much!

She has also had a blast at "school" (MDO) this year and she is such a good student. She is learning so much and has only received green stamps (thats the best;) this year.

Cashe is so much fun. We would definitely laugh a whole lot less if it weren't for him! He dances like a nut too. He has been talking a lot more lately and Belle loves to have him repeat whatever she says... its a dangerous game sometimes!

Piper is crawling! And sitting! She eating food, getting teeth and just growing so much. We are so sad to see it but we are enjoying every step. She doesn't give up a laugh too easy so you know you have earned it when she does:)

Fall!!!!

Ok, maybe its not completely official but it is FINALLY starting to feel like fall in Texas!

It is beautiful and sunny, but there is a crispness in the air that I love.

Football games and soccer games are in full swing and we are enjoying all the time together:)

You will also notice Piper is learning some new tricks! She is starting to sit on her own and is about to crawl:)

What? Piper has her first tooth???

I am that mother... the one who is so totally oblivious to her poor youngest child that she doesn't notice her first tooth coming in!

Yes, Piper has a tooth.

A tiny, sharp little tooth poking through her poor sore gums and never once did she get sympathy from her oblivious mother. The same mother who knew for MONTHS that her first child was teething and constantly had tylenol or motrin or a refrigerated teething ring ready to help the poor thing through such an aweful and painstaking ordeal... that same mother.

Maybe I am upset and worrying about what this oversight says about my parenting skills... but I don't think that's it.

I think I am sad that my baby girl already has a tooth... the last first tooth:(

I have been puting off this photo shoot for a couple months because Cashe is definitely my most difficult "model". He is ALWAYS looking down trying to find something fun to pick up. He did pretty well though because the train tracks were interesting for him so at least he stayed in the right spot the whole time:) I just had to be fast to get him actually looking at the camera.

Labor Day Weekend PROJECT!

Kristin recently inspired me to fix up my pantry with an idea she saw on another blog and I had been dying to get it done. This weekend was the perfect time to work on it. Not only does my HUGE pantry store all our food, small appliance and other necessities, but it is also Belle's "office". I set up her little table and all her art supplies so she can get away from her brothers annoying, grabby brother hands;)

Anyway, the "office" was a little nasty and probably not fit to hold food either so I painted and organized and cleaned until it was perfect! Now I am constantly finding reasons to go in to my beautiful little room:)

Piper - 5 Months

I can't believe my baby is almost 5 months old! She is such an angel and we love watching her grow everyday. She is rolling over and talking all the time and her favorite person is definitely Belle:) Belle just has to walk in the room and say two words and Piper gives her wide-open-mouth smile we love so much.
