I'm a rebel

Yep, I finally got my camera and I love it!!!! I think I took about 350 pictures in a 4 hour time period and pretty much every picture turned out. I am so excited to be able to take beautiful pictures every day:) I especially love being able to do extreme close-ups without all the blur.

I am an "ETSYer"

I recently opened a store on ETSY, where I can sell the stuff that I like to make! It is so much fun and very addicting (as Blake will attest too). I sell jewelry, ornaments, prints and soon I will be selling pretty rose jars (you will get some mom). Wish me luck!

Movie Boycott

I recently got an email about boycotting the movie "The Golden Compass" because of its anti-christian message and while I agree that if this is true we should not see it, I am also a little upset that we don't boycott other movies as well. As christians, why did we not boycott twisted movies like "Saw" (all of them), or "Reno 911", or 300, or other movies like them. These movies are filled with trash. Nudity, rape, sex, violence and yet we worry about childrens movies like "The Golden Compass" and the devils role in that. Blake and I have been trying to rent a movie for the past month or so and I am sad to say unless we want to watch "The Last Mimzy" there is absolutely no grown-up movies that do not have trash in them. We have looked up every single scary movie, romance (chick flick) movie, comedy movie, and we have found bad things in every single one.
Here is a list of movies that I believe Christians should boycott right now (and these are just the ones on DVD)
Hostel III
Mr. Brooks
The Hoax
The Invisible
A Mighty Heart
The Reaping
Transformers (too much cleaveage)
28 Weeks Later
Reign Over Me
1408
Bug
Evening
Knocked Up
Next
Reno 911
The Condemned
DOA
Perfect Stranger
300

These are just a few and I hope you haven't already seen any of them. This is truly where satan is working.

Belle loved being able to wear her rain boots and it was definitely worth the bad weather to see her in them! What a cutie!

I dont want to hurt anyones feelings but Belle is the prettiest little girl ever. She has so much personality and is so much fun! Wherever we go she is stopping people and waving and saying "hi" (with a little drawl). Even the grumpiest grinch has to stop and talk to her. She is irresistable! We went shopping and out to lunch the other day and the woman I was having lunch with and I couldnt even carry on a conversation because waiters and waitresses and other customers were constantly stopping and talking to her. It really wears me out sometimes! I havent talked to this many strangers in my entire life! I remember my mom used to talk about how our alaskan husky was so naughty but at least he was pretty... thats Belle. What she lacks in discipline she more than makes up for in looks. Not that we arent working on the discipline of course, but when I have had a rough day of discipline all day at least I can sit down and watch her pretty little face when she sleeps... its all worth it!

On Friday we went to the lake and it was a perfect evening for it. The weather is really beautiful here lately and the sunset was so pretty.

Wow, this picture just makes me want to cry! Belle is so grown up these days. As you can see she can now wear pig-tails and they are so sweet! It is a struggle to get her to stay still but somehow it all works out. I finally was able to paint her toe nails for the first time the other day and she kept saying "oh beddy" (how pretty). She is also obsessed with shoes and cries when we have to take them off. she is 100 percent girly girl thats for sure. I am so happy that God gave me a little girl so I can play dress up and fix hair and paint nails for a long time now!

We love having all of these parks to go to. We took Belle today for a picnic and a walk. It was perfect in the shade with a light breeze. We had so much fun!
