Prayer Request

I wanted to post quick about a little boy named Nate who is in Belle's Bible class. He has been battling cancer for over a year now. He went through a good period and recently it was discovered that the cancer has spread to his bones. He is the youngest of four children and his family really needs everyone to be praying for this situation. They are faithful and know that God can take this away from little Nate so please find some time to make this request on their behalf... I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this is for Nate and his family.

You can see more about him at http://www.prayfornateoxford.com

The Hunt...

Today at the church building we had a huge easter egg hunt for the kids. There was a picnic (inside) and then the easter bunny made an appearance and we then (of course) "hunted" for eggs. I use the term lightly because they are pretty much dumped all over the lawn so the little ones can run like nuts and collect lots of eggs easily.
Cashe was happy to have one egg to chew on and had no idea there was anything inside. Belle, on the other hand, has caught on and was gone before we made it out the door. Most of the pics I got of her were from a distance as she darted. I think considering we were outside for a total of 2.5 minutes she made out pretty good!

Oh and I want everyone to meet the newest member of our family...

No, sorry, Piper is not here yet. It's our new Jeep! We tried and tried to hold off and be responsible and all that but the idea of driving around with THREE car seats in our focus (with a lit up "check engine" light by the way) was enough to push us over the edge.

We are very thankful to have something dependable and roomy enough for our growing family=)

Piper update

Good news!! Piper decided to cooperate this week and has officially moved into "position"! We were so thankful for the news and I know God has answered our prayers.
I also went from not being dilated at all last week to a THREE this week! Today I have had a ton of contractions but nothing regular so we will see. Maybe third time really is a charm?? I didn't go early with Cashe or Belle so I am not holding my breath but my doctor was pretty shocked at the progress. If I make it to my appt next Wed. she said she will schedule an induction for me so either way Piper will be here before we know it.
Thanks again to everyone for the prayers!

Cute pics...

First I want to thank everyone for the prayers=) I am not calling it for sure but I think Piper may have turned all the way now (down). She feels different then she has and last night Blake and I sat and watched her breathing... I know that sounds weird but we could see where her back was and there was a constant up and down that was way to fast and evenly spaced to be anything else. It was pretty neat=)

Anyway, I have a few pics to share of the kids. The first is Cashe with chocolate cookies all over his face. And the next couple are Belle getting ready to go to the zoo with Gran yesterday. She looked so sweet! She made sure to bring her "noculars" so that she could see all the animals up close...

And here is a little brotherly/sisterly love...

Piper Update...

We had a sonogram today to check her size and to make sure she is not getting too big. Thankfully she is right on track to be about 7 pounds at most so that was good news and definitely an answer to prayers. As of right now my doctor has pushed my due date back to April 13 (instead of the 6th) because at her 20 week sono she was about 1 week behind. So hopefully sometime in the first week of April we will get to meet her=)

We did also find out that she is breech... or semi-breech... basically she is not upside-down yet. Next week if she still has not turned we will discuss options with the doctor so please pray that she will turn on her own this week. I absolutely will not let them try to turn her and I hate the idea of a c-section so it would be ideal that she do the work on her own. She seems to be as stubborn about all of this as both her sister and brother and I was seriously hoping to get one that would just go with the flow and make it easy on me.

On a happier note, we were able to see her little face and I think she is going to look a lot like Belle=) And if I do say so myself, Belle is pretty cute=) My doctor saw her the other day and asked "does she know how pretty she is?". My answer was "unfortunately yes, and she has no problem telling us either".
I think Daddy has his work cut out!

Pipers Room! (and Belle's too=)

Thank you Nanny, Papa and Ikea for the ADORABLE pink crib!
The bedding was purchased by me when I was about 4 months pregnant with Cashe because I was 110% sure I would have a girl... haha!
Belle's cute bedding came from Target and matches perfectly!

Random pics

Our little flower girl with her super sweet dimple=)

And my little helper... check out those He-Man legs (Cashe can thank papa for those=).

Oh, and those are chocolate dipped Nutter Butter "truffles" on the counter;)

More fun in the snow...

Daddy rigged up a "sled" to pull the kids in today. They had a blast and Daddy got a good workout I think...
Oh and the final snowfall accumulation for yesterday was 12.5"!!!!!

8:45 PM... STILL SNOWING IN DALLAS!

The record has officially been broken for snow fall in one day in Dallas!
We have had so much fun playing in it all day and we even built "Belle the Snowgirl" in the front yard.
Cashe would not venture into the snow but he loved being out in it.
Mostly though he was just curious about the mittens that were constricting his fingers...

"Yummmm"
I think it's nap time...
Belle and Belle...
We are very thankful for the snow and can't wait to get out in it again!
Belle has plans to build a snow castle tomorrow so we may have more pics soon.
