Sweet girl

Belle is my little helper these days and she is always so sweet about it. She still loves to clean with me and shop with me and anytime I have a "project" she is right there beside me, wanting to help.

Yesterday we had some time in the afternoon to go shopping and I told her when we got home I would show her how to make a crown out of flowers... that got her attention.

Anyway, we had fun sitting in the sun and she felt like a fairy princess when it was complete. Funny how something so simple and free can create such sweet and lasting memories!

Happy First Birthday to Our Baby...

It's true, she is no longer zero years old...

I don't know what happened to this past year but it has FLOWN!

Now she is taking steps, talking all the time, playing with her big brother and sister, and developing a bit of a "1 year old attitude"!

She ALWAYS wants to be in on the action and is scared of nothing. She no longer is happy with just sitting back and watching.She claps, sings and loves to read books in our laps. She can out-eat all of us (except for Daddy, maybe) and she always wakes up bouncing (literally) and laughing.

She is finally making it through Bible class without crying for mama (2 weeks now, yay!!). Although, I can't say I didn't secretly like that, a little;)

She still is pretty serious when other people try to make her smile. She looks at them like they are crazy... but Cashe just has to say "hi" to her and she cracks up!Piper, we love you soooo much and we have had the best year getting to know you! God has trully blessed our family with you and we can't wait to see what He has in store for your future. Stay sweet, little one...

Getting ready for Kindergarten!

To say I am nervous about sending my oldest baby to school is an understatement. I am a bit terrified. I did not think I would be... but I am. I am worried about all those hours spent away from us and she is still sooo little... even if she doesn't know that.

We feel very blessed that there is a small charter school here in town that would be a perfect fit! The class sizes are similar to her pre-school classes (13-15), they have chapel every week where they talk about the Bible, and they wear uniforms (I would have hated this as a kid but I LOVE it now:). Oh yeah, and its free! We also were shocked (and pleased) that the enrollment packet included an agreement that all parents have to sign stating that the teacher (or administration), in extreme circumstances, can call the parent and have them come up the school to spank their child... seriously! I know we will never have to deal with that because Belle is an angel in class but I still like their stance on it.

Anyway, we are interviewing on April 6th so please pray for us! We have heard mixed responses about our decision but we know this is best for her and we know she will excel in this environment.

Things have been busy around here lately and I have been bad about posting! Mostly because the kids have been sick and I tend to not take pics of them with snotty noses:)
We are all well at the moment though and the weather has been beautiful so here are a few for you to enjoy!

It's been a while...

Well, what can I say... we have been busy I guess. Mostly busy being sick and passing it back and forth. I think we are over it now and on the mend!

I know some of you may have seen these pics of Piper on facebook but here they are again:) She is such a doll and you can see her personality in them... Sweet, silly, and pure cuteness!

Happy Valentine's Day

My baby boy isn't a baby anymore...

I can't believe that today Cashe turns 2! He has grown and changed so much this year that we have to run to keep up with him.
He is so smart and has quickly become the clown of the family. He will do just about anything if he knows it will make us laugh... and he will continue to do it until we make him stop, haha!

Today we are having a party for him and he woke up ready to go. In fact, Belle has been pumping him up for about a month so over the last few weeks he has gotten up really early or even in the middle of the night to tell us he is "cited, mama, cited" (excited). Ha, he can't even sleep he is so excited!

Anyway, I have to get back to setting up but here are a few of my favorite pics from the past two years...I love you little man!!!

New Year's Eve and stuff...

This is definitely late but I had to share some pics of our New Year's Eve "dance party". It got pretty wild, as you can see. The party started around 7:30 and ended around 8:15. I know. Crazy.

Anyway, it was the very best way to celebrate and we wouldn't have it any other way:)

Christmas Morning...

Christmas this year was so much fun and we are sad to see it go! I am sad to think that in a few years Cashe won't completely lose his mind every time he sees a decorated tree or a lighted house (even poorly done). And in a couple years Belle won't believe in Santa anymore :( And we celebrated our last "first Christmas" with Piper this year... Seriously??

Wow, I am not ready for all these changes and I am a lot more sentimental about these moments than I ever have been... maybe its because we have the halmark channel free this month, hmmm.

Don't get me wrong, I want my children to grow up, move on and be healthy, adjusted adults... SOMEDAY.

But today, I want to enjoy every moment so we can look back without regrets and know that we made a point to appreciate every stage in our children's lives.
