"Nesting"

As soon as we found out the baby was a boy I began the whole "nesting" process. By the time we were in the parking lot of the doctors office I already had my head full of ideas. I knew I was going to do a sock monkey theme but I wasn't sure if I wanted all the bright colors of the newer fabrics. I decided to go with a more simple and vintage color pallet of Chocolate Brown, Red and a little bit of yellow. I don't want to spend a million dollars on bedding and decorating so I decided to make my own quilt and crib skirt and find basic coordinating sheets and bumper pad. I am also "distressing" Belle's crib to make it a little less shiny and new looking. I was thrilled when mom offered to make the quilt for me and I am more than eager to hand over that project to someone with much more experience in that area:)

Here are a few of the things that will make up Cashe's nurs

Fabric:

Custom Wall Decals:

Dresser:
Glider:
And of course, a sock monkey:

Very cute; I know mom will do a good job on a quilt.

Cute fabric, can't wait to get started on the quilt . The sock monkey in the bottom picture is adorable.
