Fall, Fevers and Football

This week we have dealt with some sickness in our house and poor Belle has felt the worst of it. She has had a fever for about 4 days now with no other symptoms. As long as we give her medicine regularly she feels fine and acts like nothing is wrong. Thankfully we already have a doctors appt set up for the morning so we will see what she says.

So, this weekend was pretty lazy and with the football season finally upon us Blake was happy to sit around the house. As you can see, Cashe is becoming quite the lazy football watcher too.

On a side note, I know this may come as a shock but I actually watched the entire Texas game! The kids went to bed around half time and it was nice to just sit and relax and give my expert analysis of each play. I know Blake appreciate the conversation. Now, I do not intend on making this a habbit but once in a while I think I can enjoy myself:)

Belle...

Belle has always been so sweet about giving her money to God. If you ask her what she wants to do with money that she has found or received she always say "give it to God". We have always encouraged this of course and told her how sweet she is. This morning at church she knew when we were taking the Lords Supper that it was getting close so she pulled her wallet out and took out some money. She was sitting on Blakes lap when the plate came by and she eagerly placed her dollar in as it went by. She then looked up at the teenage boy who had carried the plate to our isle and said "He's not God"...
I guess we need to talk to her a little about where the money goes and exactly HOW it gets to God:)

Trouble

Now that Cashe is getting around he is always finding something to get into trouble with. And of course, EVERYTHING goes to his mouth. This is not a good thing when his big sister leaves markers lying around without lids on...

Sweet Faces

We are so amazed every day at how fast both kiddos are growing up. Cashe is crawling all over the house and following us everywhere. We are having to watch everything he does and everything he puts into his mouth. He has two little teeth on the bottom now and is ready for some steak! He LOVES his sister and gets a goofy grin on his face any time she comes in the room.
Belle is such a good sister and a big help to me. She plays with Cashe and loves to have him in her room all to herself. She likes to trap him in there by closing the door and it doesn't matter how many times we get onto her about it she still sneaks it shut... she does not want him to escape! If she only realized that he doesn't want to leave, he wants to be where she is:)

Belle is also so excited (that does not accuarately describe her crazy emotion) about going to "school" this fall. Every aspect of school from her new lunch box, to learning and even "getting" to take a NAP at the school sends her into a frenzy of laughing and squealing and screaming. I hope she can at least pretend to be sad to see me go on that first day... doubt that will happen though!

Positive...

Yes, the rumors are true... Blake and I are having another baby! I know, I know, Cashe is only six months old. Yes, we are CRAZY. And NO, we did not plan this:) BUT reglardless, the shock has worn off and we are very excited about the new addition. I will be due sometime in late March or early April.
We told Belle about the baby last night and she was so sweet and excited. She is absolutely sure that she wants a sister this time:)
Anyway, keep us in your prayers. We have a long way to go still and I am just sick about the idea of wearing maternity again... ugh!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

6 Months

Cashe is getting so big! He is 6 months old now and he is starting to crawl and sit up. He leans on one arm but he can get himself into the sitting position pretty easily by himself. He's our little cowboy!
