Christmas Day

We really had a great Christmas this year. Belle was so excited to wake up and see what Santa brought her. She was a little sad to hear that her elf went home with Santa for the year but was easily consoled when she saw all her fun presents:) We had Blake's family over for lunch and I cooked my first real Christmas Dinner. It was so nice to be home and be able to relax and enjoy the day with Belle.

Pure Excitement

I was so sad that all of this has to come down already so I took pictures so I could remember how festive it looked... it took about two weeks to get the stockings completed and hung so we only were able to enjoy them for two days:(

It's the Holiday Season...

We are so very excited about Christmas around here and Belle is definitely the reason for it all:) She just loves all the fun stories about reindeer and santa and sneaky little elves and can hardly wait until Christmas morning (although I don't know if she thinks it will ever actually happen).
The elf that lives at our house (Cake) has been very good to Belle and has brought her several fun little gifts. He has popped up all over the house too. Sometimes he is in her rocking chair, or her playhouse chimney, or her doll bed (after a long night of course). And he has even been known to borrow her little stool so he can climb high and sit on shelves or counters. He has been lots of fun to find every day:)

We hope that all of you are having a very happy Christmas season and we miss those of you very much who we will not get to see this year. Enjoy some fun Christmas photos we have taken so far:)

All I Want For Christmas...

We took Belle to see Santa today and after waiting FOREVER, she finally was able to sit on his lap and tell him she wanted a shroller (stroller). She was so excited and not scared at all!

Runnin' real fast with Daddy!

Probably the most exciting part of the day for Belle is when she gets to "run real bast wiff daddy". She absolutely loves going and no matter the weather she is up for the outing. Somehow, she comes back from these "runs" with more energy than she left with...

The Nursery - Part 2

I am very excited because my previous post did not cause me to quit working on the nursery! I actually went out and bought everything to make the mobile I had planned and I love how it turned out!

The Nursery - Part 1

I am well on my way to having a finished nursery and I am starting to believe that it will be done by the time Cashe arrives:)
I have been hesitant to post pictures of the room because, for some reason, I believe doing so will cause me to stop where I am and never finish... this is pretty much what happened in poor Belle's room. Although, I am committed to finishing her room before the little one gets here too:)

Also, here is Belle in her elmo panties! She has been wearing them around the house for the past week and a half and is getting better and better at getting to the potty on time. She is catching on much faster than I thought she would and she is very proud:)

Go Bisons!

This weekend we went to see uncle Tyler play football in Arkansas. Belle had lots of fun cheering him and his team on and of course she looked adorable doing it:)

Halloween Weekend

Halloween was so much fun this year. Belle was so excited to go see pumpkins and get candy. We started the night before with the carving of a pumpkin.

Belle thought the stuff inside the pumpkin was pretty icky and had to be coaxed into putting her hand in there for this shot. If we would fill her little "shovel" up with the goo she would throw it in the trash for us:)

After everything was carved (and two teeth were glued back in... the pumpkin) we lit his candle and put him on the porch.

The on Friday morning we went to the Arboretum to see all the fall flowers and of course the pumpkins.

Belle literally took off running as soon as we got in. She would stop and examine any large groups of pumpkins and then she was off again searching for more.

Needless to say, we found plenty more to look at:)

That evening, we took her to the mall to trick-or-treat at the stores with Gran and Grandad and then we stopped by the church for their trunk-or-treat.

Then it was finally back home to check out all the loot (and eat some too, of course:).
