The Nursery - Part 2
I am very excited because my previous post did not cause me to quit working on the nursery! I actually went out and bought everything to make the mobile I had planned and I love how it turned out!

The Nursery - Part 1
I am well on my way to having a finished nursery and I am starting to believe that it will be done by the time Cashe arrives:)
I have been hesitant to post pictures of the room because, for some reason, I believe doing so will cause me to stop where I am and never finish... this is pretty much what happened in poor Belle's room. Although, I am committed to finishing her room before the little one gets here too:)

Also, here is Belle in her elmo panties! She has been wearing them around the house for the past week and a half and is getting better and better at getting to the potty on time. She is catching on much faster than I thought she would and she is very proud:)

Go Bisons!
This weekend we went to see uncle Tyler play football in Arkansas. Belle had lots of fun cheering him and his team on and of course she looked adorable doing it:)
Halloween Weekend
Halloween was so much fun this year. Belle was so excited to go see pumpkins and get candy. We started the night before with the carving of a pumpkin.
The on Friday morning we went to the Arboretum to see all the fall flowers and of course the pumpkins.
That evening, we took her to the mall to trick-or-treat at the stores with Gran and Grandad and then we stopped by the church for their trunk-or-treat.

All Belle Wants for Christmas...
Ok, I am super excited about Christmas this year because Belle is a little older and will understand more what is going on, and at the same time she has NO opinion as to what she wants! This is just too much fun for me to handle:) So, I decided to do a "baby boy" themed Christmas for her so that she can get ready for Cashe and feel just like a little mommy. Here are a few things I have found so far that are just PERFECT!
*PLEASE note: This is NOT a wish list. These are things that Blake and I are getting Belle and I just wanted to show them off cause they are sooooo cute!

Yes, that really is a little Graco baby doll "travel system". The car seat even pops out!
This is actually a picture of my diaper bag for Cashe, but an awesome lady on ETSY has agreed to create a miniature version of it for Belle! Same fabric and everything!
And here is the baby boy doll we will get her:) I think we are going to wait till Cashe is born to give it to her though. That way she will have a baby to bring home from the hospital too!

"Nesting"
As soon as we found out the baby was a boy I began the whole "nesting" process. By the time we were in the parking lot of the doctors office I already had my head full of ideas. I knew I was going to do a sock monkey theme but I wasn't sure if I wanted all the bright colors of the newer fabrics. I decided to go with a more simple and vintage color pallet of Chocolate Brown, Red and a little bit of yellow. I don't want to spend a million dollars on bedding and decorating so I decided to make my own quilt and crib skirt and find basic coordinating sheets and bumper pad. I am also "distressing" Belle's crib to make it a little less shiny and new looking. I was thrilled when mom offered to make the quilt for me and I am more than eager to hand over that project to someone with much more experience in that area:)

"Fall" Fun
I have been ready for fall for quite a while now and even though it is still not here we are trying to pretend like it is:) Belle and I had lots of fun making some pumpkin sugar cookies the other night and as you can see, she had a hard time waiting until AFTER they were baked to take a bite:)
Blake has also been taking Belle running a lot lately in the mornings. It is definitely Belle's favorite time of day:) As you can see, Daddy's workout is pretty relaxing for Belle as she rides in style. She has her blanky, slippers, pajamas, cereal and milk... Maybe we need a running stroller that I can sit in:)
We have also been spending a lot more time outside playing since the weather has been a little cooler. Here is Belle during one of our trips outside.
